No Professionals

I was walking down the street the other day and a professional photographer stopped me. He asked me if I had a portfolio. I said no, all I have is this lil' ole photo of myself.

He was really interested in using me in a studio sitting but after seeing my picture he told me "sorry but I can't use professionals", to which I replied "I am not a professional". The guy said "you're not a professional? Well you should be". He then demanded to see my Ford Modelling contract. Again I had to repeat "I am not a professional", he just wouldn't leave me alone so I jumped up and smacked him one. He wandered off muttering "Damn prima donna models".

I have lots of new words..... doctor, one more, penguin, outside, Darla and coko (older folk may choose to ignore what I am referring to here).

I think that dad is the greatest person on earth. He is a paragon of virtue and the type of man that we should all look up to. Mum is okay but Dad really is the greatest. Why you may ask..... well he just is!!

I am going to be seeing Nana Robby & Pop Art this weekend. They are really old.

Newest news on my baby brother front...... I have tried my best to convince the old folk that he is not really needed but they aren't listening. Mum is trying to tell me that once a baby starts cooking then you can't undo it. Sounds like a little bit of hand on dicky if you ask me.

Its a movie montage

Hi Everyone,

Aunty Jane taught me how to do a montage from American Samoa. She must have really long arms.

Montages are very important.

The hour's approaching to give it your best and you've got to reach your prime. That's when you need to put yourself to the test and show us the passage of time. We're gonna need a montage, ooh, it takes a montage. Show a lot of things happening at once. Remind everyone of what's going on. In every shot, show a little improvement, to show it all would take too long. That's called a montage. Mmm, we want a montage. In anything, if you want to go. From just a beginner to a pro you need a montage. Even Rocky had a montage. Always fade out in a montage. If you fade out it seems like more time has passed in a montage...

WE HAVE LIFT OFF!!!

Wha-hey!!! Jude fell asleep last night after only 1/2 hours silly beggary. Granted, he still fell asleep on the floor (with a giant No. 2 in his naps to top it all off) but at least it was a huge improvement on the previous 2 nights. Let's see if he can keep it up.

Well done Little Man!!!

Love to - but I'm buggered...

The pursuit of extended bed-time play is taking it's toll on young Jude.

Tonight is the 3rd night of the "3 day rule" instituted during bedtime. The old folks put Jude to bed and then don't go back in to his room again until all is silent (short of blood-curdling screams that is) - this could take up to 3 hours as was evidenced on Sunday night.

Once the all-quiet is heard, Jude is carefully rolled away from the door and lifted into his bed - at no time has Jude ever fallen asleep IN his new bed. The floor is obviously much more comfortable. Monday night it took 2.5 hours for him to succumb to sleep and last night it only took 45 mins. Tonight I am hoping for within the 1/2 hour. I am forever hopeful.

Jude's latest delights are bubble-blowing, playing in his sandpit, flower picking (much to his father's disgust) and exclaiming loudly.

Team Thomas spent the weekend in Hamilton. Jude enjoyed patting dogs, looking at sheep, jumping on Nana & Poppa D's bed and general high-jinks. He went to his first grown-up party on Sunday and was very well behaved. He managed to con a few old ladies into taking him outside to look at fish and the turtle.

Diary of a bed fiend

Hello all,

As you all know I have had my cot removed and now have a big boy bed to sleep on.... well apparently I have to sleep on it. Tonight is typical of what I do.

I was very very tired at about 5.15pm so dad took me up to bed, changed my number 2's (laid it specially for the old fella), read me a book and put me to bed.

Well as far as I am concerned 5.16 onwards is play time. Bedtime play time has been made a little more difficult by the old duffers. They have removed all of my toys and have just left a few stuffed toys on my bookcase.

Tonight I am going to stage a protest just wait until the old folk come into my room, just wait until they see who has right of place in the bed. I will wait here in the middle of the floor until they come in and will laugh my a off........ getting a bit sleepy..................veeeeery heavy eyed........
byeeeeeee.
